Workers picking the best petals of pink roses which are grown locally in Pushkar, Rajasthan. These petals are then used as a raw material for items such as perfumes, Rose Water, Gulkand etc. Spent a good 20 minutes with these guys talking about Pushkar, Roses and other things on my recent visit!

A farmer walks back to his house through lush green paddy fields in a Village near Ambikapur, Chattisgarh, India. I went to Ambikapur to work on a project related to Socio Economic Impact of Prime Ministers Rural Roads Project (PMGSY) and creation of SHGs (Self Help Groups) in a few villages.
